Rima Arnaout, MD (2005-06 Fellow and 2013-15 Scholar), was a recipient of the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub New Intercampus Collaborative Research Program.  Her project is entitled “Multi-scale deep learning and single-cell models of cardiovascular health.” According to the press release, “the new competitive awards program promotes collaborative research by bringing together clinicians, biologists, chemists, data scientists, mathematicians, engineers, and bioethicists in teams that each include faculty members from all three campuses. The competition drew applications from 83 teams. CZ Biohub initially planned to support three teams but was inspired to increase the number of awards to six, providing $9.7 million over three years.” LINK

Michael Chuang, MD, PhD (2000-01 Fellow) authored a publication in the Journal of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance entitled, “Effect of isolated left bundle-branch block on biventricular volumes and ejection fraction: a cardiovascular magnetic resonance assessment.”

Anna Lisa Crowley, MD (1995-96 Fellow) coauthored a publication in the Journal of the American Medical Association entitled, “Effect of Algorithm-Based Therapy vs Usual Care on Clinical Success and Serious Adverse Events in Patients with Staphylococcal Bacteremia: A Randomized Clinical Trial.” LINK

Connie Ng Hess, MD (2003-04 Fellow) published “Glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitor use in patients with acute myocardial infarction undergoing PCI: Insights from the TRANSLATE ACS study” in Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions. LINK

Richard Page, MD (1982-83 Fellow and 1987-89 Scholar) coauthored a publication entitled, “Another Shock for Sudden Death Prevention after Myocardial Infarction,” in the New England Journal of Medicine. LINK

Sydney Rooney (2017-19 Fellow) has had an abstract accepted for a rapid fire oral presentation of a digital poster during the 14th Annual International Meeting of the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society (PCICS) (December 13-16, 2018 in Miami, Florida USA).  Sydney’s abstract is entitled “Prediction of Extubation Failure in the Pediatric Cardiac ICU Using Continuously Streamed Physiologic Data and Machine Learning.” 

Laurie Snyder, MD (1998-99 Fellow and 2006 Scholar) was author on a publication entitled, “Pre-transplant weight loss and clinical outcomes after lung transplantation” in the Journal of Heart Lung Transplant.  LINK

 

Jennifer Ho, MD, (2001-02 Fellow) was recently appointed Associate Program Director of the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, and received the inaugural 2018 MGH Medicine Residency Excellence in Mentoring Award.

Amit Jhaveri (2017-18 Fellow), has had an abstract accepted to be presented as a poster at the upcoming AHA Scientific Sessions in Chicago.

Kate Wolf (2017-18 Fellow) had a review paper she worked on during her Sarnoff year published in Journal of Vascular Surgery LINK
